Helen Mirren and Om Puri play the heads of two competing restaurants in a French village. One is an acclaimed haute cuisine establishment, with one Michelin star, the other is a newly-opened Indian restaurant, run by an exiled family from Mumbai. When local villagers vandalise the new restaurant, both owners realise that the rivalry has gone too far and they seek to find a way to reconcile their differences.
