Written by lead actors Tom Basden and Tim Key, this is a funny, melancholic yarn of a folk duo reunited by an oddball superfan. Key plays Charles, an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island and tries to make his fantasies come true by getting his favourite musicians to perform at his home. The musicians were a moderately successful indie-folk duo who parted company ten years ago, both musically and romantically. Meeting again for the first time since then, they both reflect on their previous life together and Charles mourns the love that first inspired his dedication to the the duo’s music – does he truly love the band, or does he just love the memories he made listening to them?
