About Pine Grove Pictures
In 2013, a small group of local people agreed that Crowborough had been without a cinema for far too long. They decided to change all that and bring cinema to the excellent facilities at the Crowborough Community Centre. Pine Grove Pictures (PGP) was born. Woody Allen’s ‘Midnight In Paris’ was the inaugural screening in January 2014, played to a packed house. The PGP team were overwhelmed by the response and have continued with regular screenings ever since.
It is our aim not only to offer interesting and entertaining films but also to create a really good evening for everyone who attends. Our bar opens an hour before the film starts at 8pm where everyone can enjoy a glass of wine and chat with friends.
So, what are you waiting for? Affordable cinema is now on your doorstep. Come along to the next film – you’ll be amazed how many familiar faces you will see and there truly is something for everyone.
Our Venue
Pine Grove Pictures hires the facilities at Crowborough Community Centre, a modern, well-equipped venue with superb projection and sound equipment. Our Main Hall screenings can accommodate up to 200 people and the raised stage and screen ensure everyone has a good view of the screen.
